In memory of José Pablo Sylvain

José Pablo Sylvain, a mango exporter, was murdered in a cowardly attack on 9 September 2021 at Santo.

ASPELEM honours the memory of a professional committed to the mango sector, and extends its thoughts to his family, those close to him and his colleagues.

His death is a reminder of the price paid by the women and men who keep the sector alive, and of how urgently they need an environment in which everyone can work safely. The association intends to press that case with the authorities and with all of its partners.
